Why Towson University?

What do you love about your school?

I love Towson because there is a large student body with a small campus feel.

Why did you choose your school when you were a senior in high school? Walk us through that process.

As a transfer student, I knew TU was the best fit for my major and I am able to be independent while only being 20 minutes away from home.

What has been your favorite class so far? Tell us about it!

All of my higher up education classes! The College of Education is a tight knit family! With smaller class sizes, I am able to grow a deeper bond with my professors and my peers. I keep in touch with a lot of my past professors to this day!

What fun traditions do you like to partake in at your school?

Every year during the spring semester, Fraternity and Sorority Life at Towson holds "Greek Week" which is a week of fun competitions between all Greek Life, including our infamous "Greek Sing" held in Secu Arena!

Tell us about Jewish life on campus. How have you been able to engage with this aspect of your identity while at school?

Jewish life is large on Towson's Campus. Our Hillel building is near many resident halls and dining halls! They are always hosting Shabbat dinner, Hannukah parties and Seders! Hillel is a great source to meet new people and enjoy a home cooked meal. My friends and I have attended a few Shabbat dinners and they were so much fun!

Share your favorite road trip song that we can add to our college road trip playlist!

Yeah! - Usher
